how is RD at RnRC and ToT? How have the crowds and wait times been?

For AK our plan is RD EE and not go near pandora until our FP.

I’m planning on doing the same for DHS.

The huge mob of people at rope drop go straight to Toy Story Land. People have reported that they were able to ride RnRC and ToT several times before the crowds arrived. :)

We were there 3 mornings last week. 2 of those we went straight to TSM, then back to RnR. RnR has a very short wait, for the first 45 minutes, maybe an hour, after that it jumps VERY quickly. ToT for the most part, was about the same, it may stay shorter lines for a little bit longer.

Our experience from the first week of September is that ToT had very short waits (pretty much walk straight into the library) for about the first hour of the day, while most everyone was in line for Slinky.

Thanks!! Sounds great. ToT is our favorite ride. It'll be nice to get a few rides in before we head over to TSL with FP. And also ride RnRC too.

Was at Hollywood Studio's on the 18th. Everything at rope drop is 10 minutes or less excluding Slinky dog and the alien ride. We decided before rope drop not to even try those two rides.

We did go to toy story mania but took our time and went by star tours first to avoid the crowd. TSM had a 10 minute wait so did that we then walked over to Star tours which was 10 minutes and knocked that one out. By that time we got out of ST. TOT was at 30 minutes this was around 945. By 1015 ST was at 25 tsm was at 50. RNRC was at 60. So the first 1:30 you can get alot done besides alien saucer and so. But after 1030 everything is busy.

We had fp for alien swirl and we got in line for SD around 715pm. Was showing a 50 minute wait but actually only waited for 35.

That's exactly my plan. Avoid TSL at RD and go to RnRC then over to ToT. We have FP+ for TSM, RnRC and ToT starting at 9:25 am which we will start using at the end of the first window. We like to ride these multiple times a trip. I was expecting higher wait times after 10 am. I have three other afternoon/evenings at DHS that we have SDC and Alien FP+.

You probably saw my husband. Bald guy, beard and red Pizza Planet shirt :D He rode twice that morning back to back thanks to the nonexistent line.
We rode 6 times in a row on Sept 6, between 9 and 10:30. We went straight there after we left the AP Toy Story Land play time event that morning and rode until the line built up to what appeared to be a 30-40 minute wait.

My daughter and I were sitting at the tables by Starbucks eating breakfast while he rode! I wonder how many of us walked right past each other lol

Glad to hear this! I scheduled our SDD FP for noon hoping we'd get Jedi training sign up and then ride a few things before the crowds hit.
