With the big recall on

eggs...does anyone know if Florida/DW is affected? I love the scrambled eggs at the Pop....

I often wonder if those are real eggs they serve or is it the ones that come pre made and they add the liquids to it........
Does anyone know for sure????

You know, I was thinking the same thing. I don't think they are 'real' either...
but they are certainly yummy right?!

I am almost positive that they use PWE (processed whole eggs) that come in a milk type carton. Those eggs are pasteurized so they should be OK. I am in Florida but not near Disney, we still have eggs in the grocery stores here. That being said, it may just depend on where they get their eggs from. I am sure though, that if they were effected, they have found another place to get them.

Upon further thinking, they have to have eggs at Disney. Almost all the baked goods are made on property and from scratch. Desserts, cakes brownies and such, use eggs.

They use a liquid bag egg that was not part of the recall. Most places use this product for omlets and scrambled eggs.

Yes, Florida is affected, but we are not completely out of eggs. If Disney does indeed use real eggs for breakfast items and such, I'm sure they get them from very specific sources, as they do most of their food items.

1) The scrambled eggs are made from powdered egs.
2) The omlets, etc, are made from processed whole eggs.
3) And, yes, Florida was on the recall list.
4) One might assume, however, that WDW has purged trhe suspected eggs.
5) That is, if they had any from those batches.
