But, our Governor (DeSantis) has ordered all restaurants as take-out only until May 8th.

Don’t see how that bodes well for the resorts in April.

One thing I did think of this morning, Disney is a major employer in the stare of Florida. Is it possible that they have information from the government ahead of time as to possible changes in advance of the rest of us?

Resorts shut down just yesterday, and now the restaurant ban comes out, Maybe they knew what was coming?

possibly, but I’m thinking about the CDC guidelines that limited people to gatherings of 50 or less on March 15. That would put us into mid May (well May 10). I figured they got the idea after seeing that.

I think the total ban on restaurants having open dining rooms was in response to the Spring Breakers. Before they totally closed dining areas and required takeout, curbside or delivery only, they required restaurant to reduce seating capability to 50% of what it was and have six feet between each table. Plus close down any bar, including bars in restaurants where they had to close if they produced 50% or more of the restaurant income. The photos from Clearwater were the straw that broke the camel's back. Our beaches here are still open to people who are staying on the beach. If you need to enter through the public access or the private Resident's Beach, you cannot. Those are all closed. All the county owned beaches and county beach parking are closed as of Thursday.
