With onsite express pass, should we do Rip Rocket early in am?

Since we won't have to wait for most rides, should we ride the Rip Ride Rockit first thing in the morning to not wait too long in line? It will be a Sunday and Monday in late June that we will be there.

Thanks!

Yep, ride it while you can. Also if they have the single rider open use that. Ask for the single rider when you get to the entrance. Most of the time the TM is blocking it so it looks like its closed.:thumbsup2

YEs since It doesn't take express pass, the waits get long fast and it has been known to periodically "break down"

Okay, I'll put it in my "itinerary" first. I'm not sure I'm even going to make one because we don't really have to wait in line, but I'll make sure we get to that one first. I'm glad you but "break down" in quotes because that would be really scary to have that ride not working properly!!

That's the best part of Universal, no need to plan out your day. Hit Rip Ride Rockit first, then enjoy the rest of your day leisurely :thumbsup2

I will say that the Studios involves some planning, even with express pass.Grab a park map and check out the times for the shows. Some of them only run a few times a day and around the same time as some of the others, generally not in the first hour of park opening and you are going to want to plan around them.

Does this ride have anything interesting going on in the regular waiting line? Is there any reason at all not to ride this single rider, except for your party being split up?

The queue line is outdoors and not very interesting at all. The one thing I will warn you of is that many times the single rider line is longer than the express (because there is two to a row). In my experiences, single rider is definitely hit or miss, depending on how long the line is.

I'm not sure if we are seeing any shows yet but I'll check the times. Have only researched the rides. We wouldn't ride single rider since we like to stay together.

Thanks!

The Horror makeup show looks great, and I haven't checkout out the others, but now I will thanks to your suggestion. Loved the movie Beetlejuice.

The shows are terrific. Last week not a single show started before 11:45A and many were later than that like a 12:30P 1st show. The parks were open till 9P.

We headed to RRR as soon as we entered the park and walked right on. By the time we left mid-day for a break the line was quite long.

That's pretty normal. When we were there in Jan the first Beetljuice show was 1230 and the only other one was at 230.The parks closed at 6pm and 7pm
