With new codes, only 3 resorts left for my dates

I just got off the phone with CRO and she told me for my dates, 11/23/07 - 11/28/07, there are only 3 resorts left using the new discount codes and she priced them all for me with my options.

The options/dates are for 11/23/07 for 5 nites, with dining and 1 day adult passes for 2 adults and one adult/child.

GF GV $2641.78
SSR Studio $2101.78
POR $1359.28

I already had reservations at the Yacht Club and wanted to apply the code, but, there wasn't any availability there with the discount. It looks like a 40% discount on the room portion and then you pay full price for the tickets and the dining.

Well atleast you have some options. Im going Oct 7-13 and there is nothing. Not a single discount. Guess i have to accept that nothing will pop up. No room at all at any value or mod resort. Except Saratoge or CSR one bedroom suite. But not forking out $5000.00 for that.

Try calling back and asking again.

I called yesterday and wanted to change my room only reservation for CBR (preferred location) with AAA discount to a package with the new general code.

The CM told me he only had a standard room at the CBR for the discount code. I explained that I already have a preferred room (gave him confirmation #), and that I want to keep that room, just adjust the price with the new code. The CM told me that is impossible.

I hung up and called back. The new CM told me the same thing about only having the standard room. I explained again that I already have a preferred room, why can't I just apply the code to that room and make it a package. He told me he needed to call guest relations and have them do it as he could not. He put me on hold and a few minutes later came back and told me that is was done. I had the CBR preferred room with the new code.

I would try calling again as no matter what the CM tells you, they can give you the rate. They might just need approval first. Perfect example was my brother was in disney in May and stayed at the poly garden view for a few days. They left to spend a few days at the beach. After 1 day they called disney and wanted to come back but the ploly only had lagoon view. My DSIL told the CM that they price was too high and they could only afford the garden view. Well he gave them lagoon view for the garden view price!

Just keep calling!

That happened to me once too. I wanted to use a code on an existing reservation and they told me none was available even tho I already had the room. Called back again, got a different CM, they said hold on, came back and said they saw how many times I had visited recently and did the change.

I couldn't get anything yesterday, but could this morning. Keep calling. I had to switch from Pop to Sports, but saved $339, and this is for Thanksgiving week!
