and I am jumping in my skin cuz I can't wait!
This will be our second visit to the world with the first being just last year.
Cast --
me- Linda (mom, 30)
DH - Dave (dad, 31)
DS1- Brenden (5, will be 6 in january)
DS2 - Garren (3, just turned in September and is 1/4 inch shy of the 40 inches with no shoes)
Friday December 1, 2006 we need to be at the airport at 5 am. We are spending the night before at my mothers and she is dropping us off at the airport. We are going to bring the boys on the plane in PJ's so they don't have to fully wake up so early. It's a non-stop flight and hopefully they'll sleep some cuz we are doing the Candlelight Processional that night. They still are not being told, they will figure it out eventually though cuz we are using ME and I'm sure DS1 will know once he sees the Mickey hands if not before. We are staying at AKL club level.
Friday night- our only time in Epcot this trip. we want to arrive early enough to see some Santa's before dinner. Dinner is at 5:30 and CP at 8:15. We want to try to snag some FP for Soarin' later and visit Club Kool along with with seeing crush since we missed that last year. We are having dinner at Le Cellier for the first time.
Saturday morning we are hitting DTD for a while. I can't wait for the boys to see the toy store and I need to visit the x-mas store for something special. After lunch at Wolf gang puck express, we are heading over to MK for the rest of the day. It is an EMH night and we have the time to spend. We'll leave when the boys get tired. Goal for the day, - Have Fun!
Sunday is our Sunrise safari!! this was one of my DH's favortite rides to do and he has no idea what he's in for on this one. AK all day today and it closes at 5 when we will try to swim at AKL and tour the resort. What's the best resort to visit for holiday decorations? Maybe we could visit another resort before going back. who has that big gingerbread house I saw on the travel channel?
Monday we have breakfast with Donald and is another Ak day. We are leaving early to go to eat at Chef Mickey's and then get our first ever chance to take the monorail to the MK for the MVMCP. it's another first!
Tuesday we have breakfast at CRT for 8 am. It's going to be a tough morning since it's also check-out day. We're going to have to pack after the party and drop everything off and head to the bus super early. We have to be bca at the resort by 4 to hop on the bus back to the airport. Our plane leaves at 7pm and we don't want to be too late.
Well, this trip is pretty well planned out. I'm going to try to relax and go with the flow but there is so much I want to do that we didn't get to do last year or that we definately have to do again. That is why we are only doing the two parks, they were our favorite with the kids. I am such an anal planner that this will be a little hard for me to go slow but it's planned in my head so as long as we are folowing the basics of it, I think I can stay sane and enjoy it all. My only requirement is that we make all our TS meals on time. There is so much I want to do that I kow there will be more trips in the future.
Some people have asked why we are only taking the boys and leaving the girls at home, well, the oldest wants no part of missing school and the younger one is going with her grandparents in february. The two girls are DD's from other marriages (one his and one mine) they do lots of other things with their other families that my boys dont' do. I think it's totally fair that we are doing this with them.
Can I have lots of well wishes that DS2 will grow that extra 1/4 inch before we leave??? He grew that much in a week last year and has been growing so slow lately.
