With Epcot Monorail, Does This Benefit Me?

I'm trying to avoid taking the bus as often as possible on a scooter. We're staying in Beach Club, so we can access both Epcot and Hollywood Studios on foot/scooter.

If we have a Magic Kingdom day, can we somehow go through or around Epcot (if our reservation is at MK) to ride the Epcot monorail and get to MK somehow? Same with coming back - we have late (8:50 pm) reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table, so can we somehow take the MK monorail back to Epcot and walk to our hotel afterwards?

The reported hours for the Epcot monorail are, starts ONE hour before Epcot opens and ends ONE hour after Epcot closes. So currently, 10 am to 11 pm.

No way to walk to the Epcot monorail station without going through Epcot. To enter Epcot prior to 2 pm, you would need a park reservation for Epcot and this would prevent you from getting into the MK until 2 pm when park hopping starts.

To get back to the Beach Club by using the Epcot monorail, you would need to have a park hopper ticket.

Oh good point! Okay thank you. I do have park hopper so I guess we can do a one way bus then.

I had the same idea, hoping to come back to Dolphin via Epcot monorail after the fireworks at MK. But another poster had said since EPCOT was closed, I couldn't get from the monorail station to the international gateway because I wouldn't be allowed in since it was after park hours.
How do you get to the pathway back to Dolphin, Boardwalk area from the monorail station, without walking through EPCOT? Also how far would that be?

I'm not looking forward to waiting for Boardwalk bus, or having wait in line for monorail to TTC, then another line for the Dolphin bus, but won't be up for a super long walk at the end of the day with a past her bedtime child.

Does the park close right after the fireworks show when you're going? If it doesn't, you sure don't have to join the exiting mass of humanity immediately.

Although I admit, I have zero experience exiting the Magic Kingdom after fireworks, because I always did the MK fireworks on the night of the late night Extra Magic Hours. In September I get to experience it.

Check Epcot’s closing time. You will not be able to enter Epcot after park close.

There’s no pathway around Epcot.

Thanks, its been 9 years since I've been to Disney, and I couldn't remember about the monorail station location. We were staying at one of the All Stars then and had to bus everywhere.
