TONY! You didn't shave for me? I'm so heartbroken. First you go to WDW without me. Now this. Tell me something else I don't know. That'll make up for it.
Here's a serious question for the men out there: at what age do you think it is inappropriate for a man to bring his daughters into a public mensroom with him?
Women bring their sons into the women's public restroom all the time but that is a bit different with the private stalls. However, my DH is a SAHD with 2 little girls. He obviously can not enter the women's room with them and they are much too young to go by themselves, the youngest being 2.
tough one for me Peg, as I have no children. I guess it would depend on the maturity of the child and the situation. But there are so many loony's out there that I could see a father worrying about letting their little girls go alone!
Good question, Peg. If he goes out to eat with them, have him sit near the bathrooms and watch if a bunch of women go in. When he sees there's not many, send the girls in alone. However, if he has to change diapers or pullups on the 2 yo, I'd bring her in. Try to go to places that have family bathrooms, too.
LOL! Thanks for the shower answer Tony. I knew you wouldn't let me down.
At Publix recently, I had to wait outside to use the women's bathroom as an employee had cleared it for a man to take his young daughter in. She said he was embarassed to do it, but she insisted. I thought that was nice. Obviously though, this is not always an option.
The thing that makes SSB most realize that men in general are looked on as swine (literrally) is via bathroom design...
At Wrigley and other ballparks, urinals are just gigantic pig troughs .... like big long bathtubs lined up for the swine. VERY uncouth and uncultured in SSB's book.
I was at a Hockey Game at the Cincinnati Gardens and had to use a trough to potty in...I guess that's why men are sometimes called pigs..
Men are usually welcome to let the opposite sex use their Public restroom... I was at a concert when this woman went in the men's room...
