with a splitstay (no online checkin) how do I contact OKW with a need?

We have a trip coming up, and I hear you can't do online checkin now with their ridiculous same-reservationnumber-for-each-part-of-the-stay thing ( I recently asked them to split it up into different numbers and was refused).

My aunt has a bad knee, and needs the ground floor. Not an HA room, just ground floor.

How do I contact them to let them know? I'm sure it will be very simple but I'm really scattered right now and figured people here could help. :goodvibes
 
I don't think online check in would help you anyway on this one. Just call MS and have it added as a request onto your reservation. I did something similar for a relative on a recent reservation. MS said the request would be labeled for medical reasons.

When we checked in last December, as things were changing over to lilo, I was able to put "first floor" in a box that showed up as I was doing online checkin (with a split stay, but before they put everything onto one reservation number). But maybe that was just before things changed.

Having the same reservation number is something they are doing to, er, for us to keep things more simple. Doesn't feel that way to me! When I made the reservations, I did them one at a time (no other way to do it when booking exactly 7 months out from checkin date for each resort), but they did me the "courtesy" of assigning the same numbers to each part.

People here have gotten them split apart (which boggles my mind...they WERE split apart by how I booked them with days in between each segment), but the CM I asked said it's impossible to do without canceling and rebooking, and said it so firmly that I lost the will to call and ask another CM.
 
We recently switched part of our April 2012 vacation at the 7 month mark to another resort and asked the CM to make it a different reservation number. On our last trip in June, we had a few problems with our KTTW cards because we had guests that came and left in the middle segment of our three segment stay. To finally fix it the CM at check-in had to cancel our third segment and rebook it. We'll see what happens with our trip in October which is two segments under one reservation number. I really would prefer not to take the number of trips to the check-in desk that we had to do in June.
