With a four year old?

I haven't been to Universal since 2000.... with all the price increases and service cuts at Disney, we're now looking into Universal.

We will have our 12 year old and 4 year old sons. Is there a lot to do with the 4 year old? Are there many rides he can get on? I just remember roller coaster and a few other rides that I don't know if we would like....

Thoughts?

that link has a lot of rides for younger kids. My 5 yr old small for her age went last yr and had a blast. Check height for a lot of the in between rides, she was able to do Spiderman (though it was intense) and Despicable Me, Simpsons, etc. She rode the Flight of the Hippogriff in Harry Potter as well.

My daughter was 4 when we went last year. She was over 40 inches. Her faves were Despicable Me, the Hippogriff coaster, the Simpsons, One Fish Two Fish, and the Cat in the Hat. She also enjoyed the Shrek movie. She rode Jurassic Park and liked it until the mean dinosaurs tried to eat us. She did ok with Spiderman. She wanted to do Gringotts but then decided against it.

The nice thing was that the child swap is so easy! We went thru every queue together and whoever wanted to ride, rode.
