Remember what I said about writing in journals? Hard to make time and by this time we are getting exhausted, but excited still to enjoy, knowing our trip is now winding down...
We decide to go back to Epcot for lunch then head to MGM to see Beauty and the Beast. Now I had thought we could eat at Beaches and Cream, but we just never made it out of Epcot!! We ate in Morrocco, Tangerine, it was fantastic!! We had to see Honey I shrunk the Audience one more time... then I check the clock and we head back to MGM we make it in plenty of time to get checked in with our Princess Package PS, 2nd row... I went across the street to get our frozen lemonade and some fresh grapes, I really cant remember if dd has eaten any fruits or veggies this trip!! She devoured the grapes. Her eyes were so huge during this mini production. I so admire the performers for their costumes in this heat had to be a nightmare - I was told that it is just one set of performers - and they perform 4 shows!! OUTSTANDING!! After the show we have 3 hours to kill at MGM before the Fantasmic seating, dd wants to go back to the Poly pool, so fine, we head back for a relaxing hour at the pool -
We made it back to MGM at 7:45 and I ask about the PS I have, and we decide to look thru the shops for 20 minutes, perfect timing, we head into our seats at 8:05 and we are in the 4th row way to the side, we brought stuff to entertain dd and the crowd kept up the wave... I went to get dh and I a beer and found out the policy of the Disney Parks is one drink per person. So I understand this policy, but it makes for long lines, the lady behind me thought it was silly and offered to buy dh his beer -so I slipped her a fiver and she came out of line with my 2nd beer... and let me tell you I felt very guilty!! I mean we didnt really need $5 beers, its just the only time I enjoy a beer is when I've done a lot of walking and sweat is pouring down my back!!
We so enjoyed Fantasmic, and I am in awe at how many people comeinto that theatre!! We noticed that they had reflective captioning, I wish I had paid closer attention to the maps, they are clearly marked for the cc, reflective captioning, hand held captioning... dh is hard of hearing, and misses a lot , but seems to be used to it... we debated on seeing hte 2nd show with the captioning, but dd wanted to do the Pool again, so off we went to wait in line.
The buses seem to be a hit or miss, but in the heat of August if sure feels a lot longer that the actual wait times!!
