Well come to Vero Beach! We are here for a 4 night stay and I have to say they really have the original DVC culture here among the CMs. Plenty of "Welcome Homes" and they go out their way to assist you in any way. Absolutely the most activities for kids and a well kept property. I know these "off-site" locations don't sell well, but they are a great value to your DVC membership. The parks are always special, but we are beginning to have great appreciation for both HHI and VB, we have been spending a few nights each year after our WDW trips.

I am excited to hear your positive feelings of VB. My family will be there in August for the first time and we are really looking forward to it

We visited HHI 2 years ago for the first time ....we loved it...hoping to go back next year.

We only joined DVC in 2010. We joined with idea of using it for way more than just visiting the parks.

So, we are exited to have off site resorts. We are planning on visiting Aulani in either 2016 or 2017.

I hope you have a wonderful stay at VB:cheer2:.

We've never stayed at Vero Beach, but love HHI and find the CMs there to be the best. I'm so glad to hear that Vero Beach gives that same special feeling. It gives me incentive to want to try it some day.

I just came home from my annual Memorial Day visit and I couldn't agree with you more. I LOVE the CMs at Vero, especially the guys and gals on the recreation team. Can't wait to see them again in 85 days.

Oh, and if you can handle the early morning, try getting out to the beach at 7am one morning to meet up with the CM from Disney's Animal Programs as they check for new sea turtle nests. It is one of my other favorite things to do at the resort.

Are the sea turtle activities seasonal?
