I know it's less likely but I really loved the ghost galaxy for Space Mountain but I highly doubt it will happen this year (since it didn't happen in 2019 but i think it was cause the halloween party didn't happen in Disneyland) but I am hoping maybe it'll happen.

I've only seen Ghost Galaxy. This thread reminded me that I will be seeing the regular DL version for the first time this week!

If I remember correctly, the “overlays” for Space Mountain only take the ride down for a day. Or maybe the can just do it overnight. I could see them doing this since it is probably really low cost.

I have a feeling it just might come back this year... now that we see Haunted Manion is going down for refrub (assumingly to install Nightmare Before Christmas), it would make sense for other attractions to get their normal Halloween updates.

Hope 'Monsters After Dark' also comes back to Guardians/Tower of Terror.

I prefer the Non-overlay version over GG but then I'm not a huge Halloween person either so...
