I am sure this has been asked but I haven't seen the post yet. I was just checking my mail and saw the link to watch the wishes on video http://www.wdwinfo.com/ I have goosebumbs I can't wait. Well here is the dilemma we are going 11/28/ to 12/05 the only night that mk is open to 9:00 is the sunday we arrive but we weren't planning on visiting the parks that day. Is there any where close enough that we could see this without using our passes. I am setting myself up for a "there is no way to see it" but thought if anyone would know better it would be you guys. Ill just have to plan better the next time if wishes is still around. TIA

You can see the fireworks from the Contemporary on the 4th floor observation deck. They also pump in the music. You can also see them from the beaches of the Poly and GF, but I don't think you will be able to hear the music. We have watched from all three places. We liked the Poly, because we were able to rock in one of the swings on the beach, then stay and watch the EWP too.

They do have speakers with the music at the beach at the Poly-- I'm not sure about the Grand Floridian, though.

Have fun!

At the beaches at the Poly, am I allowed if I am not staying at a disney resort? And how do I get to the beach if I am allowed, and 1 more was it crowded?

The hours for Nov and Dec won't be out for months, so how do you know when Wishes is going to be held? In early November, it was at 7:30.

Don't know when MVMCP will be starting, but it's wonderful! In the past, there have special fireworks for the party, and you can watch them from the resorts mentioned above, if you're not planning to be at the MK. If MVMCP is being held that week, it's in lieu of the regular fireworks. I think you're jumping the gun --- wait for the park hours. You may have more options than you think.

The beach at the poly is for poly guests only

Having said that, there is no reasonable way for them to control access especially if you walk off the monorail or from the TTC stop

thanks

Grabbing dinner at a Contemporary restaurant like Chef Mickey's would be a great way to be there in time to catch the show. The view really isn't that great from outside of the park, but you can always take a monorail ride anyway (or a ferry from TTC) and check it out from there.

The one drawback here is that Wishes had fireworks launching from various places. We saw it from Fantasyland and were pleasantly surprised to see the lights shooting over us. Still, you're right -- it's not worth a day's admission for everyone in your party.

However, going by your dates, I'm guessing that Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party might be the reason why MK will close early some of those nights. I don't recall if they run the fireworks or not for that -- they definitely do the night parades -- but maybe that's an option.

thanks for all the replys. I researched and found out that on the nights of mvmcp they do show wishes. I am so glad I really want to see this . Again thanks for coming thru guys...
