Hey Guys,

We absolutely love Wishes and we are wondering if you had any suggestions on the best places to see the fireworks outside Magic Kingdom??

Thanks in advance

David and Jenn

No doubt on this one for us - with a cocktail on the poly resort beach! 2nd best place is outside the park is probably with diner at the cali grill on the top floor of the contemp resort.

Inside the park the one of the best views of the castle is probably from the railway station platform.

.

I 100% agree with this totally would choose these options.

for us it's def at the end of main street near the ice-cream parlour right in front of the Castle. Yes it can be busy but you get the best view of the fireworks there with the Castle central to the fireworks either side and over it. It just seems right to be in the MK watching them.:)

Try the boat dock at T&TC looking across the lagoon. You are facing the castle 'head-on'. Also like the Poly.....you can hear the music!

Have dinner at Narcoosee's at the GF. There is a little balcony outside that looks across to the Magic Kingdom or you can stay in your seat if you're sitting by a window. They pipe in the music and dim the lights, so it's great fun.

Poly beach without a second of hesitation

the shots below are from happy hallowishes, nov 2nd 2012 (last party of the season) no audio but totally amazing show since Happy hallowishes is fired over a much larger area.

Having been to the party a few times and not wanting to go again just for the fireworks we try to time a meal at the ploy so we can watch hallo wishes from the beach. It's a spectacular view from there.

We were watching them from the Poly beach that night too! We managed to see the last Hallowishes, a couple of the MVMCP fireworks and a couple of ordinary Wishes, all in the same holiday.

By the way, I believe that there are places at the Poly where you can hear the audio. Possibly on the boat dock and near the main pool. We generally watch from further along the beach so don't hear the audio. It's a pity they don't pipe it into the 'musical mushrooms' in the flowerbeds.

This may sound like a silly question but is the beach easy to find? We have a ADR at ohanas but might not have much time to get down to the beach. I remember seeing the pool area last time but not much more.

It takes max 5 minutes to get to the beach just head for the pool area and keep walking past it and that's the beach right there.

we were on the smaller beach. The one that's not on the pool side.
It's just outside of the Luau Cove.
There was only 1 other party with us on that beach, but it was freezing ..

Ok thanks I think I may need to go check out the resort map

Hey, stop pointing people towards the Poly beach - I was hoping it would be nice and quiet for us, stepping out of the Concierge Lounge with drinks in hand!!! :rotfl2:

Can't wait....will probably be sick of fireworks by the end of the holiday though...

We were hoping to do California Grill. Bit pricy to see them but we hope to have a good view of Wishes from there.

We watched Wishes from Cali Grill lasr year, just before it started a man proposed to his girlfriend on the table next to us, it was so romatic. When we got to the restaurant we requested a window table and said we didnt mind waiting, but if you dont you still have the balcony where they pipe the music

We have made it a tradition to have our last night dinner there so we can watch the fireworks. It's my favourite thing and i can claim it's that darn breeze outside that's making my eyes water lol.

Wow! One can only keep ones fingers crossed. Over 4 years together :)

We went to CG last trip, I hadn't requested a window table but we were given one. Our ADR was 8pm but the waiter came over introduced himself and said he would time our meal so that we would still be there to enjoy the fireworks as we had a great view! It was our fav evening, shame it's closed ATM otherwise we would def be going back.
