Hi there!

I have been reading on the Disboards for the past year or so. I love reading about everyone's special days. My DF and I will be getting married at the WP on August 27, 2013. I have some questions that I know a consultant can answer but we are not signing our contract with them until the end of this month.

For my guest, do I chose only 3 hotel choices for the room blocks? I read some where that Disney wedding guest get a discount on tickets as well. Is this true?
Also is it better for my guests to maybe just to book now regularly and wait to see if Disney runs a special for the end of August like they are now. I assume that you can't get the free dining special if you are in the "wedding room block".

I have some guest who have been asking questions about there trip to Disney already and want to be able to answer them. I am just not sure what the answers are. If you can help me that you be great! This way I can send an email out to my guests. :)

You can actually choose up to four different hotels for your guests. However, if you plan to provide transportation for them, I recommend offering only one or two resorts: It may cost you less, and guests will spend less time sitting on a bus while it drives all over WDW picking everyone up.

Yes, but it's awfully paltry—just $20 off any ticket with the park-hopper option (which costs way more than $20 to add...).

Probably, and yes. :teeth: Often the discounts offered to annual passholders or even the general public are better than the ones given to wedding room blocks. But sometimes the wedding rates are better, so it's best to keep your options open. The one thing you can't do is get free dining with the wedding rates because it requires the purchase of a full-price package, while the wedding rates are room-only.

Happy planning! :goodvibes

Thanks a bunch! You have helped me a lot. I am going to email my guests today. Have a great day!!!!
