I see so much on the Illuminations Cruise, but not much on the Wishes. Is ILL. that much better than Wishes? My 90 days is coming fast and I dont know which cruise to do.

I heard that Wishes is spectacular but can not hear the music on the boat. Which I would think would take away from the "magic"
However, I think it would be awesome to see Fireworks over the castle. How is the view on this cruise?

Any help would be appreciated.

I did a Fireworks Cruise when it was Fantasy in the Sky... so this might help you out some...

My personal preference, if you can only do one, is the Illuminations Cruise. You're right on the water, you can see everything, well worth doing.

The MK fireworks cruise is nice in it's own right, but I preferred being on Main Street watching the fireworks from there. From the water, we did see the fireworks right over the castle. We couldn't hear the soundtrack that well at all... just what was drifting over the water from the MK.

Personal opinion-- if you only have time to see the MK fireworks once, do it from in the park. If you've got the extra time and enjoy the boat cruises, give the fireworks cruise a shot.

Hope this helps!

The reason you see so much about Illuminations Cruises is that they are very hard to get. There are only 4 boats each day. It's harder to get than Cindy's. This is because the boats tie up under the bridge between UK and France and that's all there is space for.

With a Wishes Cruise, there's the entire Seven Seas Lagoon and there are a lot more boats to be had. But you don't get the music at the same time, like the previous poster said.

We also did both Illuminations & Fantasy in the Sky cruises. In my opinion, the fantasy in the sky was not worth the money. We definately could not hear the music and it felt totally different that actually watching them from MK. We did have a great time & the CM took us to the outer parts of Bay Lake to look for alligators, but it was just so-so compared to the Illuminations cruise.

So, this trip, we have the illuminations cruise booked....again....But it's become sort of a first night tradition for us.

I hope this helps
