Wishes vs. Hallowishes for Califorina Grill?

We'll be there in October and have never done California Grill.

For the special events - i.e. MNSSHP, I assume they allow you to go on the observation deck for Hallowishes (like they would for the "regular" Wishes)?

Also would the Hallowishes music be pumped into the restaurant?

I would say Hallowishes. I'm pretty sure the music is still piped in, and Hallowishes includes cool perimeter fireworks that are neat to see from CG. Honestly, I think the regular Wishes show looks odd from CG, because the fireworks don't appear over Cinderella Castle.

I just booked an ADR for a night Hallowishes is on.

Now I just hope they pump the music in.
