Our first trip to WDW we didn't see Wishes. I've regretted it! It is a high priority. We will be going to MVMCP and I know they have a version of Wishes. Should we try to see the regular one too, or just the Christmas version?? How different are they?
TIA

They are very different... You should see them both if you can. But if you can only see one, the Christmas version is definetly more extravegant.

We are going to the MVMCP on Nov 17 and the calendar is showing that Wishes is at 6:00 -- then the Holiday Wishes is at 9:15--- so I hope we will get to see both the Same Day~!

Don't be surprised if you see that changed. They don't usually do Wishes for day guests on a party night. A double fireworks load (while it can be done) is very time consuming for the pyrotechnics and not something that they normally do. The park hours right now are listing MK as being open to day guests until 7pm that night, which being a MVMCP night would not be correct. It would close at 6 for day guests with the party officially starting at 7pm (party guests are held in one area during the hour between closing and the party start time). While I am not saying it won't happen, I am saying have a Plan B, unless they are trying something new this year, I would not be surprised to see that changed as it gets closer.

I agree. I think it's a mistake.

In my opinion, I think you should see the normal Wishes. While the Christmas ones are good, I think the only highlight is the perimeter fireworks (which isn't that many). I don't think anything beats the Magical experience of Wishes, it always brings a tear to my eye!
