Wishes viewing from Poly or head to MK?

O'Hana's ressie is at 6, WISHES is at 8pm
After we eat can we just head to the beach area? Can we hear/see from there? Any particular spot to head for?

Or should we just head to the MK to see it first hand? Wouldnt be leaving Poly till after 7 which may be too late

Can Wishes be seen/heard from the ferry?

You can see Wishes from the Poly beach, but in my opinion, the best place to see it is from Main Street. Wishes is spectacular!! Try to see it from the MK so you'll hear the music and narration.

what time would we need to leave the Poly by in order to get to Main St?
Is there a better/worse spot on Main St? or as long as we are there?

As soon as you finish dinner, you can hop on the monorail at the Poly--the MK will be the 2nd stop. If you hurry it won't take long to get to Main Street. I think Wishes is great from just about any place on Main Street. Others might have a different opinion. You might want to see if you can change your dinner reservation to be a bit earlier--if they won't give you a reservation a few minutes early, just show up. When we stayed at the Poly last month (July 2004), we couldn't get a reservation by going to guest services or calling the dining option on our phone--they all told us there were completely booked. So . . . we showed up at the restaurant and asked if they had any cancellations. We were shown to a table right away--we were really surprised. The restaurant wasn't even full, so I don't know what was going on. Hope you enjoy your dinner and Wishes! Wish I could be there too!!!
