Is that a real person that flies from the castle in Wishes?

I have it recorded and it sure looks like a real person to me.

My DH says it is not a real person.

We have a bet going!!

I actually managed to somewhat catch her on film with my snazzy new 35 mm camera; you can somewhat see her hair, and you can definitely see her wings and green dress. Never have managed that before, so I was pretty excited. If I can find it, I'll scan it and post it for anyone who wants to see it.

I had no idea a real person came down from the castle until a couple of years ago. My DS and I took seats in an eating area across from the castle near Tomorrowland. I kept looking at this cable over my head going from near the top of the castle to the roof behind us. I could not imagine what this was for. At the start of the fireworks I was shocked to see a person come down the cable over our heads.
Not that I want that job.....but reading other responses, I wonder what they pay this person?

Could not pay me enough to do that!

Tink won't fly if the line is wet or if the wind is above a certain value. They don't want her to get too much speed. There is also a very tight weight requirement as well. If she is over or under that day, they also stop her from flying.

Birds sit on the cable all day long doing what birds do. When Tink slides down, whatever the birds have left on the cable comes flying down into Tink's hair and her face! Still want that job?

Yes, she's a very real person with very strict height and weight requirements. She gets weighed every night before she flies. Too light and she won't make it across, too heavy and she'll go too fast.

Yes, real person, and you can bet that Disney doesn't pay her for 8 hours a day unless she works 8 hours ( I beleive they may pay her for 4 hours, that's the minimum shift they give out....but she gets "face pay") She probably works as some other character the rest of her shifts.
