Wishes on the 4th

Is Wishes any different on the 4th of July than they are any other night or is it the same display?

Yes During the 4th, in 2004, 1996, 1994, There was a special showing of Fantasy iin the Sky and they are simultanously done over MK and the Lagoon. I have yet gotten my self situated to get a good view of both at the same time and still hear the music. But this is very possible from the boat dock of the GF and from the special they have at the contempary, which is pretty expensive. Had dinner Narcosses by the window to try and make this happen but the deck got really crowed and could not get the view i wanted . Very hot during this time and very crowded. Preparation is the key but very fun to do.

"While new special versions of the Wishes fireworks show are being prepared for Mickey's Not–So–Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party this year, it seems that another special–version fireworks show will not be updated, at least not this year. On Sunday, July 3, and Monday, July 4, the special patriotic version of Fantasy In The Sky will be presented."

And that is one fantastic show. Since they use perimeter fireworks, there is a great view just about everywhere. Try to be in sight of the castle if you can. I saw the show from a little ways into Tomorrowland and still had a great view. Just be prepared to constantly turn back and forth. There is always something new to see. And I forget what it was, but one specific type of firework got a spontaneous "ooo" from the crowd everytime it was launched. Truly a beautiful show!
