Wishes on Memorial Day?

Was hoping to use a FP for Wishes on Memorial Day as my DD(10) is a bit claustrophobic, but alas, looks like that is no longer an option. We have never been inside the park for the fireworks and would like to experience it but I am concerned about the crowds. We do have an ADR at California Grill at 5:45. I know we can return at 10pm for viewing but that seems like a lot of back and forth. Is there a less crowded location in MK that still has decent viewing that anyone could suggest? Behind the castle in Fantasyland, between Be Our Guest and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, will be less crowded. The fireworks will surround you, but you'll also be turning your head back and forth worse than a Wimbledon spectator.

The fireworks from outside California Grill are worth it. Amazing view.
