Was anyone else at MK on Oct. 15 and dissappointed to see Hallowishes instead of Wishes. I no that many ppl around me were very upset about this and was wondering if there were any fellow disers who experienced this as well. This greatly upset me since it was my last night in Disney and I had seen Hallowishes on Oct. 12 at the Halloween Party.

I was there 21st thru 25th and I won't say I was devistated about not seeing Wishes, but I will say that I was very, very, very sad!!!

I even called and asked a CM thru reservations about the regular Wishes. He told me that on the EMH night, they would run it twice! Once at 9 and then again at 12. Well, was I ever excited!

Imagine my disappointment when I missed the first fireworks show (time got away from me and we were on Pirates) and then there was NO show at midnight. Which, btw, we had stayed in the park that late for specifically!

What a bummer!

I did see Hallowishes from Contemporary but man, it is just NOT the same. I miss my Jimminy Cricket and a good "cry fest"! I did get the cry fest at Illuminiations though!

I actually did complain to guest relations even before Halowishes was over and the CMs went through their schpiel of the fact that things are subject to change and since I am a former CM myself I proceeded to inform them that they knew of this way before the fireworks were to start and he checked on this with his fellow CMs and and they said they have known since atleast 4pm. So they went and did some things in the back and asked me what I would like bc he offered us park tickets and i just a one day park hopper and he went one better and gave me and my friend a three day park hopper good until 2036. This did not make up for the fact that they did not show what they were supposed to but at least they attempted to help us the best they could they couldnt make Wishes appear so they made sure we could come back and see it again.

oh wow.

my compensation was 2 CM's in front of the castle, who informed me that WISHES would not be showing at midnight, did their own personal rendition of wishes, complete with sound effects. It was quite funny!

I was disappointed as well since the last trip, my DD was too young to make it for Wishes. We saw Hallowishes at our MNSSHP party and thought it was awesome, but wanted to see Wishes this trip. I didn't express my feelings to anyone until I spoke with several people on the Monorail who were talking about it. It seems quite a few people share your sentiments!

yeah i was bummin. i went with one of my friends who happened to be her 1st time to disney world and i was raving about wishes the entire trip and when it came down to actually being at wishes.... well, we were bummin. we still enjoyed hallowishes, but it just wasnt the same. i really wanted her to be able to see tink fly out of the castle and all that. i had even memorized the wishes music and everything. oh well. more reason to go back!

It happened to us on Oct. 18th. I was pretty upset and stopped to briefly ask a CM about it, but didn't have a chance to officially complain. We were having our last night in the MK - there were 4 MNSSHP's that week, so we really were limited as to which night we could see Wishes. We were on Dumbo when the creepy music started. That was just totally wrong. My dd was completely FREAKED OUT and wanted to leave. We walked as quickly as we could through Tomorrowland and through the crowd to get out. All the time, she's crying and looking pathetic. I slowed down on Main Street when the Heffalump song was playing. I thought maybe she wouldn't mind that part. She said, "Hurry, Mommy!". So we went out the exit and got on our bus. All she kept asking me was why did they have to do the Halloween Wishes.

I figure - they have the Halloween party often enough that they should at least stick with the regular Wishes on the off nights. I don't need compensation, but I think I will send an official letter to let them know. They could at the very least post it as that Wishes in the time schedule. It was truly the worst evening I've ever spent in the MK. :(
