Not sure this is the right forum, but didn't know where to put it. I always wondered... in the Wishes fireworks at MK, are the movie audio clips actually taken from the respective movies (Cinderella, Ariel, Aladdin, etc. talking about wishes) or were they recorded specifically for Wishes with recreated voices?

No "definitive" answer, but they sound like the actual voices and clips to me.

I believe the majority are clips. Not 100% sure though. At least they could be.

I'm pretty sure the Genie one isn't. Not quite sure about the others.

In these kind of shows, due to AFTRA/SAG union rules and various technical reasons (such as the original "clean" tracks -without the films' music and sound effects mixed in- not being available,) most of the clips used in attractions and shows are recreated, either by the original artists (unusual) or "sound-alikes."
(i.e., Genie in Wishes is voiced by Dan "Homer Simpson" Castellaneta.)

One notable show where all (or nearly all) of the voice tracks in the show are provided by special recordings from the original cast is DHS' Beauty and the Beast: LIVE.
The voices of David Ogden Stiers, Angela Lansbury, Robbie Benson, and (possibly) Jerry Orbach are all used in the stage shows' original soundtrack.

I'm thankful for your contributions here! So much great insight!
