Is there a good option for viewing wishes in a wheelchair in MK? Or should we plan on viewing from somewhere outside the park?

We watch Wishes from the back side of the castle - near the carousel, or even a bit closer to 7DMT. Have always found it to be pretty spacious, so someone in a wheelchair could get a good view - plus, you'd be surrounded by fireworks!

depending on how early you want to go find a spot you can go to the old FP grass area and get a spot of front you have a railing in front of you and the CM leave the back half of the walk way opened so you can see but you need to get there early

We've viewed it from there too.
You don't see the projections on the castle because they are only on the front.
But, you have a very good and interesting view of the fireworks and you can hear all the music.

My favorite view is from the railroad station. If you get there early enough, you can get a spot right at the railing. You can see the castle projections and fireworks from there.

How early do you recommend arriving? We will be visiting in July.

2-3 hours, if you want a railing spot. July is so hot and busy, people don't mind sitting and waiting at that time of night.
I agree
The last time went to the balcony, we were there that early.

I think it also depends on what your idea of a good view is. For my parents and I, that usually means seeing the actual fireworks with less crowds. For years we stood in tomorrowland, and since my dad ended up in his power chair over a year ago, we realized it's nice to sit at the tables outside of cosmic rays on the far side near the castle. We can all sit at a table (even when we went the last week in June and it was so busy), dad can tilt back and put his feet up in his chair, and nobody gets in our way since the fireworks are over us directly. You do miss the projections, but tinkerbell flew right over us! We sat down like five or ten minutes before showtime, it was lovely
