Wishes, Illuminations & Fantasmic???

I confess, I am getting into commando mode thanks to these boards and my unofficial guidebook.

Words like Wishes, Illuminations, Electric Water Pageant and Fantasmic keep popping up everywhere - I finally realized they are all different, and all a must-see. That being said, I have a few questions:
1. Where do each of these take place?
2. Best viewing spot for each?
3. Are the times different so it is possible to do more than one in the same night?

I think that is it for now. Trying to plan ahead for those things that only occur at a certain time. Then, there are must-see parades, character meals (requiring PS), etc., etc., .......

Warned you - I am definitely in commando mode. HELP!!

The timing for some of these events vary, so you will have to check the hours during your vacation dates. Wishes is a 12 min. fireworks display over the castle in the MK. Just find a spot with a good view of the castle. Illuminations is a lazer/fireworks display over the lake in Epcot, and is also approx. 12 minutes in lenght. Illuminations is always at 9:00 p.m. There are many good spots all along the rail at the lake edge. Fantasmic is a show on water and stage and is shown in MGM and is 26 min. This show has theater seats, all seats provide an excellent view.

Illuminations is generally at park closing (which may be 9pm). When I was there in December, it was at 9:30pm.

The times for all these events can vary depending on the time of the year and crowd levels, etc....a little more info from you can help us lead you in the right direction:
What are your travel dates?
Are you staying on property?
How many are in your group and their ages?
