Wishes from Toontown?

I think I may have read this was a decent spot to watch wishes from if you weren't trying to see the castle. True? I don't think we could handle the crowds of mainstreet. Can you jump on the train afterwards to get you to front of park? Anyone know where the train parks during Wishes and if it takes long to get going again? Thanks.

As far as the train question goes, I think it depends on what time of night Wishes is done. If I'm not mistaken, Toontown closes early and that may include the train station. If that is the case, it would not stop there and you might be caught behind that huge Main Street crowd.

I would double check this, though. I'm not 100% sure I'm right about the early closure.

We just happened to have wondered into Toontown through the "back" way behind Tomorrowland to the left and realized Wishes was going to start.We had originally wanted to watch from the train station on Main St. to be close the exit but they stopped running the train during Wishes so we were "stuck" in Toontown.And yes it was closing up. So we sat on a bench and watched a "behind the scenes" kinda view. WOW!! We had that area all to ourselves and a REALLY great view. My 17 yo DD still says that was one of the most magical moments for her on any of our trips.
