Hey people

About to book for an evening meal at Ohana's and would like to see Wishes - I'm wondering if it's best to make it to see Wishes from inside at Ohana (can you hear it?) or to eat in good time and watch from the beach (again can you hear it?).

Thanks! :thumbsup2

We've also watched from the beach after eating at Kona Cafe (on other side of hotel). You can hear the music from some spots on the beach. My DD6 enjoys playing in the sand while waiting. Haven't been at 'Ohana's during FW-I'm sure someone else can comment on that.

However, we have had dinner at California Grill during FW and the windows were completely covered in condensation. The view was awesome, however, from the viewing deck. I don't know if 'Ohana has the same problem with moisure.

You can hear it from either - but you'll want to make sure you are near a speaker outside. We prefer to watch it from the beach :)

We LOVE watching Wishes from 'Ohana. Try to schedule a time for 1.5 hr. before Wishes starts. Ask for a window seat in the main dining room. It might take a few more minutes for you to get seated and eat and enjoy. When Wishes starts they dim the light and pipe in the music. We never had problems with moisture on the windows. You also get a wonderful view from the beach - there are just certain sections where you can really hear the music. I like the views better from the Poly as opposed to Contemporary. You are directly infront of the hotel so it looks like the fireworks are going off behind the castle. From the Contemporary they are to the side of the castle.

Linda
