WISHES from the Poly Concierge?

If you watch the fireworks from the concierge do they pipe in the Music etc like they do at the California grill? Or can you only watch?

Do you mean from the concierge lounge or from the lagoon view patios? We were there a couple of weeks ago and could not hear from our lanai. We never watched from the lounge. They were so spectacular from the lanai that I didn't care that I couldn't hear! Another guest told me she could still hear the Polynesian Christmas songs playing during WISHES. This may have been an error that will be corrected by the time you go.

I'm pretty sure that you'll be able to hear from the lounge since the music to the former fireworks was always piped in. But we prefer watching from our lanai or from the beach if we stay gardenview concierge.

I'm sure it is. We just stayed lagoon view concierge last week, and even though we never watched from our room or the lounge, we did watch from Ohana's in the GCH one night, and they had the music piped in.
I agree with the poster who said it will be better viewing anywhere outside on the beach or balcony, lanai, etc. though. (I think the music is played on the beach too.)

When we were there from 11/20-11/25, the music wasn't playing from the speakers by the sidewalk in front of Hawaii so I don't think you could hear from that section of the beach. You could hear it from the speaker(s) near the volcano pool.

I did mean from the lounge - we are staying Garden View Concierge (unless they upgrade us which we are NOT expecting) we will only be able to see them from the lounge.

I just wondered if it was worth going there or to the beach. We will probably eat in some of the restaurants as well so we might see them then- but since it is our honeymoon and we are at the poly we want to try to see them as much as possible!

Well, try it from the lounge one night and outside another.

BTW, I love the gardenview rooms in Hawaii, too. The views are really lovely and it is more peaceful and private than lagoon view. Either way, you win. Have a wonderful honeymoon and Best Wishes!
