I was wondering how is wishes during dinner at CRT? I know you cant see the entire show, but thats ok. We'll be seeing it 3 more times, not including the time in CRT (so total of 4 times) before our trip is over. Generally when they know you are celebrating something you get a table by the windows. At least thats my experience the past 2 times I ate there and celebrated bdays. We'll be celebrating our anniversary. Is it really cool and romantic to see what you can from inside?

We were there NYE 12/31/2004 during Wishes. We had a table right in front of the big stained glass windows. It was perfect! I have no idea how we got that table-just a lucky seating, I guess. Wishes was beautiful from inside-but remember-you will be viewing through stained glass windows, so you won't actually see the detail. Still, a really memorable experience. I think they turned the lights down/off and piped in the music during the show?? One thing that was cool too, a man got down on his knee and proposed to his fiancee in front of the windows during Wishes that night-I'm sure it will be a night they will always remember!

I agree, Wishes at CRT is great. DSIL & I watched from an inner room table and could still see very well, even w/ stained glass view. It was DSIL's 1st time to MK and she was just in awe of being at CRT, much less watching Wishes too (which I hadn't even considered we'd see when making our ADR). She still talks about this being a highlight of our trip. The lights were dimmed & music was played too. It was quiet as everyone shushed, stopped eating and watched. I would be VERY romantic and worth every cent, especially if you are going to get to see it outdoors at another time. I'd try to see if from CRT first before watching from outdoors though, just so you aren't disappointed from the restricted viewing after seeing the whole enchilada 1st.

Unfortuantly the way I have our ADRs planned, we'll be seeing it twice before we eat at CRT. If wishes start at 8pm, what time should I make our ADR for? I was thinking 7pm or should I make it for 7:30pm? Its going to be an EMH night and we plan on attending EMH.

it's.. different.. i guess it works out best if you're right by the window. they do dim the lights and pipe in the music. it seems a lot of folks ran over and took up spots by the window (despite where their table was) when i saw the fireworks there. here are sample photos, but don't take them as representative of individual experiences

I think it would be neat to do once, especially since you say you will be seeing Wishes at least two other times during your stay. Personally, I did not care for it. It was like the castle was under attack, and I didn't think it was too romantic. I am glad I did it once, but probably never again.
