Wishes from Contemporary?

Can you see Wishes from a public area in the Contemporary? We have dinner res at Chef Mickey's ( I know, gross) but I wondered if we could hang out after and see Wishes somewhere? It's our arrival day so not using a park ticket.

Yes, you can see them, but you won't hear the music/narration. Go to the north end of the concourse (by the shops) and find the outdoor balcony. Or, go to an upper floor and go out the door to the stairway.

Sure, the food at CMs is nothing to write about in your journal but it's all you can eat and fun.

At the Contemporary, there is viewing (with sound from the show) on an outdoor
observation area on the 4th floor.
Also, from the California Grill observation areas, but they are reserved for patrons that day of the Grill or Bar.

The 4th floor deck at the CR isn't a great place to watch them from IMO, but it's ok. The monorail obstructs your view and it can be hard to hear the music. If you are facing the MK, try to go to the corner on the left hand side of the deck. If you can get there early and grab that spot, you will avoid the monorail obstruction.

If you climb the stairs or go out one of the doors from an upper floor, you get above the monorail.

The viewing from the TtC ferry boat dock was amazing. I almost liked it better than being in the park. If you have time I'd take the monorail there and watch it

Yes.
You can see the MK fireworks shows very well from the TTC
(and they pipe-in clear, crisp audio from the show.)
Note: you are not allowed to stand directly in the actual Ferry loading area.
