Hi, i was unsure whether to post here or in planning. We are going at chef Mickey at 8 pm one night. Can we catch the fireworks from the contemporary or should we go back to mk or jump skip it?

Thank you.

If you are content just to SEE wishes, stay at the CR. I prefer to be as close to the bangs and booms as is possible. One can walk to the MK from CR. I would jog it for a closer position...when I was 14.

It's a different view. You don't have to deal with large crowds or staking out a spot.

We just watched Wishes from the TOTWL at BLT ( attached to Contemporary and I believe closer) last week. I am glad we did it once, but it is no substitute for seeing Wishes from INSIDE MK. The perspective is off. The show is meant to be seen from somewhere in front of the castle. In fact, I think watching from the beach at the Poly is better than the experience of watching from CR/BLT. If you have seen Wishes before, or will catch it again later in your trip, by all means watch from CR, but is defiintely not as good as being right there.

Our first night we're thinking of eating at chef mickey's (not going in a park). Thinking of making reservations later, to see the fireworks after. Can you see them from chef mickey's? Is the viewing area open to anyone, and how do you get to it? Can you see them from the outside of the Contemporary? Thanks

there is no room - not the main one - where you can see them.

if you don't get that - then you need to walk pass the elevators, shops - go to the left - then outside the exit door - on the balcony you will see metal seats - if they are available seat down - otherwise you are standing. you can heard the music from here.

the viewing area is open to anyone - yes you can definitely see the fireworks outside.

there is also another place - it is on the sidewalk area between CR and BLT - it is a little pass the skywalk (above you connects the cr and blt) - you know when you are in the right place because the music from CR can be heard here - it might be from TOW - but that is a long walk for the music to be heard.
