Wishes FP

I have a Wishes FP for my upcoming trip. It is my FAVORITE night time show and one I must see every time. I decided it was worth it to me to get a FP for this....so I'm just wondering, for those of you that have used a FP for Wishes, what time do you generally need to arrive in order to get in and still have a spot open for your family? Is it generally packed (like watching from any other location would be)? And how is the view? Can I arrive to watch Celebrate the Magic and then stay for the fireworks?

We had Wishes FP for last Thursday. We arrived during the electrical parade (needed some place to eat our ice cream and just happened to end up at the FP entrance so we went in). We had tons of room to sit and enjoy our ice cream while also enjoying the music and lights of the floats. We had plenty of room throughout Celebrate the Magic and the fireworks (yes, you can watch them both from in there). Essentially we had one section of grass all to ourselves. The area never got crowded, it was delightful! I think it was about 9:15 when we entered for 10:00pm Wishes.

ETA: The view was fabulous, just watch for light poles if you are wanting pics. We actually stayed to the back, some of our group left the grass and went to the back railing to get unobstructed pics.

Don't forget to factor in being in place for "Celebrate the Magic" which begins 15 minutes before Wishes.

That show can be seen well from the Wishes FP+ areas.

We went in about 15 min before it started.
We had no problems finding a spot to sit and relax and we stood during Wishes (at the request of the CM working)
Had we felt rebellious and opted to remain seated we would have had the freedom to do so.
It was not crowded, not even remotely.

Oh this makes me so happy! I was hoping to get a great view without having to worry about the crowd.
