Worth it?
Where do they put you and how do they handle admission?
What time should we get to there?
Is it still crowded?

Thanks for the info...

We enjoyed the Wishes FP+. It is the garden area in front of the castle (between the walkways to Tomorrowland and Fantasyland. It is not crowded at all, and they have a bunch of cast members to check your FP+ with portable devices, and to monitor all the people trying to sneak into the area. You can't see the lightshow on the castle very well, but you have a spectacular view of the fireworks. My family and I laid on our backs and just look up. Would definitely recommend.

Not in my opinion. See the green link in my signature.

If you use Mesa's link you'll see my recent review with some pictures taken from the area as well as where the area is located. We really enjoyed it, but it was our fourth visit to MK during our trip and we had ridden everything we wanted to so the Wishes FP wasn't replacing riding something. In the heat of July it was so nice not to be squished between sweaty, stinky people! :)

That is I think the most appealing part of it.

Thanks also for posting pictures of what the vantage point is from there! I think I'll reference your post in the OP next to Wishes. :goodvibes

Oh wow! I feel so honored :) I was actually thinking of this thread when I took the pictures! I always wanted to know, so I figured others might as well. There isn't much posted about it. I even had to ask a CM how to get to the reserved area! I felt like such a newbie ;)

We used FP for Wishes last month on a day it rained off and on for several hours before the show. In that case they don't let you sit on the grass. Instead we stood on the pathway that leads through the garden. Like others have said, the big advantage to this is not being stuck in a crowd of people during Wishes or getting caught up in the mob that follows. Also it would be a good spot for someone who really wants to make sure they see Tink fly right over their heads (she did not fly on our night due to weather, but we could see the cable). I'm glad we got to try this, but I prefer the straight on view from Main St. so I would probably not use a FP for this again.

I reserved a Wishes FP for my upcoming trip just because I somehow managed to NOT see Wishes last year even though I was in MK at the time but was standing in an area where I couldn't see at all. I was mad!

can it be your 4th FP of the day that you get at a kiosk?

In theory, yes, however, we just returned from a 7 night trip and never once was it listed as being available (we booked ours a few weeks before arriving.) I haven't read anywhere on the DIS of anyone being able to book one day-of, but that doesn't mean it can't happen... it's just not something I'd count on.
