Wishes FP+, any recent experience?

It looks like the Wishes FP+ areas are pretty big - do they get crowded to standing room only? Where is the best option if we want to sit (at least during the wait for Celebrate the Magic)?

Our experience was in July (4th of July week) and yes, the areas are pretty big. We chose The Plaza side and we had heard that most people tend to head towards the front so we went towards the back. We sat on the grass towards the back (and ate our ice cream we had gotten before entering the FP area) then we stood up when CTM began. Some of our group moved a little further back and leaned on the railing since that made for the best unobstructed (light posts) pics and videos. It was not crowded at all when we were in the area. We had plenty of space and weren't shoulder to shoulder with anyone besides who was in our group (8 of us). It was a very enjoyable way for us to spend our last night of our trip!!

We went in August. I'd also heard most people crowd around the front so we stayed all the way at the back leaning against the fence and had enough room to spread out and be comfortable.

It gets crowded in the front. We stay at the back of the FP area and sit with our back on the fence. It's a nice area

I was there in September, and it was great -- plenty of room to sit with legs stretched out, great view of the castle.

We did it last week and had plenty of room to sit back with legs outstretched & relax the whole time. Too bad it was about 38 degrees outside.

Most everyone sat on the turf or leaned/sat on the fence rails.
Very uncrowded.

I've been wondering if some of the negative reports come from people who just happened to pick the more crowded side that night. That's the casey's side, right? Thanks for the report!

Casey's side, yes.
And, the park was very busy that night. Too.
