wishes fireworks show

I just found out there is a new fireworks show at magic kingdom

can anyone tell me where the best place is in the park to see this

Wishes is great because fireworks are shot from more locations. Main Street is good, going towards Tomorrowland is also. Just about anywhere you would have a good view of the Castle and you can enjoy them.

We saw Wishes on Dec. 23 and wish we had followed WDW's advice on good viewing locations. As usual, we sat in front of the castle on Main Street. We did not see over half of the fireworks because they were behind the castle. On the times guide, WDW recommended 3 locations: Frontierland, Liberty Square and ?? for excellent viewing. A word to the wise - follow these directions or you will not see a good portion of the show. We will definitely sit in one of these areas next time we go.

we stood in Liberty Square near the dock for the Steamboat and had a superb view. The next time we were just outside Its a Small World when they started and we didn't see them very well at all.

I would definitely recommend Liberty Square, and they are fantastic fireworks, really really lovely

Hmm. I had no idea WDW recommended Liberty Sqaure! We saw it on 1/2 from Liberty Square right near the bell. I had been telling friends that the show was good but that from where we were the 2 layers of fireworks weren't overlapped as I thought they intended for you to see them. I had no idea we were in a recommended area. We were thinking maybe from the deck to the train station would be good b/c there is a good view of the castle but it's far enough back that the castle wouldn't block the show. Maybe if we had been able to see the castle from where we were standing it would have been better. We were on the side of the square with the least amount of people in it...that's probably why!

It is a great show and I'm sure you'll enjoy it from whereever you decide to watch it!

We watched them from a seating area just behind Dumbo. There are tables and chairs, and a water fountain. It is right along the water so we could see all of the fireworks. We were there by accident the first night, by design he second!
