I'll stop for now.

I'm a bit upset.

My sewing machine broke down last week, so I went to get it fixed.

They just called me to say it would cost 78$ to fix it (without counting the taxes). And I had paid 130$ a year ago for it. Not getting it fixed. Asked them if they'd buy the pieces, and they said it was all trash and that they'd trash it. So it's trashed.

Now I got no machine to finish my costume And no money to buy a good one at 300$.

I have to ask.... Did you bring an extra suitcase for all your purchases? Or did you ship them home? Just asking because when friends of ours goto Disney they always ship 2-3 boxes of souvenirs home. LOL

No extra suitcase lol

Everything that was for my bff and her kids were sent to her directly from there. And everything else, well we are good packers, and our suitcases expand about an inch. So when we leave we make sure that the suitcase is not expanded so we have room. Plus we through out stuff like toiletries since we bring small amounts and such.

As for Wall-E, he flew with me hehe

Hope all the kids in your classes are behaving

I try to bounce back quickly as I can never afford to miss more than 1 day from work at a time. More than 2 days and you need a doc note.

Most of the kids are nice. I've got a class that's a "profile". I see them 2 times a week (4 times in a cycle of 9 days), and they are great so far. Secondary 2 (9th grade). I know some of them from last year. And most of them are in this profile because they love arts. I never see time go buy with them. And today 2 girls told me:See you thursday. And I said: oh is it thursday? I haven't checked yet! And they replied: Well we always know when our art classes are since we are looking forward to it.

You have no idea how great it made me feel. I was flying

Then there are other classes where....well last class they stuck stickers on me for "fun". You know, in my back and in my hair. But I knew it since they are not subtle at all. And they are special ed. They are students who have to get out of elementary school, but are not at high school level when it comes to their learning. So they are sometimes VERY childish and not always fun. So you have to be patient.

Hey guys.

Just wanted to vent.

I rarely give consequences to students.

But when I do, I follow through with it.

4 students left class 5 minutes early. You know, they sneaked off. I saw 2 of them, while I realized 2 of them were not in class anymore.

So I'm giving them detention.

So I called their parents to tell them their detention is during lunch next tuesday, and they need to bring a cold lunch since they can eat during detention, but don't have time to get a warm meal.

Well this mom goes off on me how drastic I am. And how the school is making the kids hate school by having these consequences, and how I am not talking to my students. And how having 300 students is not that much when she knows someone who has 500 and has time to spend alone time with each of them and blah blah blah. And then.... she hung up on me!

HAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Well now you know why the kid has no discipline. The parents probably just let them do what ever they want.

I felt bad at first since she told me the stepfather died a few weeks ago. But after that I thought...it's not an excuse. I've known this kids since last year, and he's no angel.

Weather: 96F Cloudy

That morning I woke up feel groggy. So I only ate a bit of cake for breakfast, and half an orange.

We wanted to go back to Epcot that day for 2 reasons.

1- Because my dad hadn't been yet
2- Because we hadn't done "Canada" since we were waiting for my dad.

We we soon on our way, and took the monorail to Epcot.

When we got there, we quickly walked through future world, and only made a quick stop at the Coca Cola station. Where I made my dad try Beverly, and he got mad at me for a while. Oops

We then made our way to the "Canada" pavillion, so my dad could see the new and awesome and legend...wait for it....dary movie starring Martin short.

My dad loved it too.

And as usual I got sad that the song's version I have on my cd is not Eva Evila's.

As we were approaching England, on our way to eat at the France bakery, my head started pounding and I was feeling sweaty, and not good. Didn't tell my parents yet, but asked to go to the restroom. Where I put some cold water on my forehead.

As we exited, I told my mom that I'd go to France with them, but I'd go back to the hotel after.

Well my parents were getting exhausted from the heat we endured during the last few days, and days of not stopping.

So we all made our way back to the hotel. I felt a bit bad, I didn't want to ruin their day.

So we got back to the room, and I lied down and slept for a bit.

When I woke up, I put on "Sixteen Candles", and we relaxed as a family.

We had a ressie at Chef Mickey's at 6:20pm, so at one point, we got up, and got ready for dinner.

We were seated in front of the buffet, and our server was ok. Not the friendliest. She also gave my mom diet coke, instead of regular coke and tried to make us believe it was coke. I drink diet, I know the difference.

We didn't take pics with the characters, but had lovely interactions. Donald told us to go eat, since it was yummy. Goofy sat at our table and wanted my mom's cookie, and Mickey tried to leave with me. He didn't want to let me go when I said we were leaving soon.

After dinner, we went and talked to the DVC rep and got all the information. We later decided it was not for us.

I went to bed almost right after dinner, my body was still acting wrong, and I wanted it to stop it! lol

I forgot to say that little after we got back to the room, something like 1 hour, it started pouring. There were a few thunderstorms, and the rain wouldn't let up.

Just the past couple of days I really feel like I'm starting to get to know my class and as far as I can tell, I really like them all and think it's going to be a good class. They seem very low but they all seem nice, no major behavior problems.
