I want to go to this so bad! On our last night I think it would be a great way to end the trip. Is there any chance of cancellations? Since you have to prepay (right?) do openings ever come up? Can you go to Tomorrowland Terrace the day you're there and get on the list?
Bummed there's no Mickey's Christmas Party when we're there and looking for something different!

I wouldn't count on being able to just "walk in" to get on the list. You need a reservation. We had to try multiple times everyday before we were finally able to get a a reservation. People do cancel. You just have to keep trying. We called to get our reservations last year. We called everyday for over a month before we were able to get a reservation. Just keep trying, even if they tell you it's booked up. That's what we did. Try calling and try booking online. Good luck.

I got a reservation with a few days to spare. I've recently saw posts saying cancellation policy is 5 days out. I would keep checking up to that point, also the weather plays a big part. If early (10 day forecasts) show rain, people will be canceling even though the weather can change from bad to good in no time at all.

Definitely keep trying. I was able to book ours for our August trip about 90 days out.

We get it every trip usually by the snipe. You will see the most cancellations five days out. Hope to see you there.

Last year we were able to book (after checking the website multiple times a day) about 42 days before our August trip. As previous posters have said there is a 5 day cancellation policy so just keep checking. Good luck!

We are looking for September if you end up giving yours up and the original poster doesn't need it! :)

People cancel. I cancelled ours for this month and booked the Pirates and pals cruise instead.

Never give up. Booked it a few times and never even close to 180 days out. I've also cancelled a few times.

We did this as Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party last year before the major price increase. I can understand doing it as a bucket list item to check off, but spending $160 for 2 adults and 2 kids to have dessert and watch fireworks? I...no, just no.

Let us know how it is! I'm wondering if anything (aside from table cloths) have changed with the price hike! Id love your review!

We are thinking about doing it...

We will be in MK on my son's birthday this year. Originally we were going to travel the day after his birthday, but things had to be shifted to accommodate another child's sports schedule.

I'm feeling like I'll take the ADR if it pops up -- it would be a nice birthday splurge. But I'm not going to be too upset if it doesn't.

Just keep checking in for cancellations. If you're set on going, that's your only bet. The odds of a walk-up are astronomically against you since same-day cancellations are penalized and everyone will be checking for availability via phone/website up until the event.

Keep checking in, as people with ADR's get scared off by reviews or alter their plans, they'll cancel, especially the week before and the week of- that's the greatest spike of cancellations as people finalize last minute to avoid any no-show fee's.

I have been trying since my 180+10 in May and just saw a Wishes Party open up today for the first time. We are a party of 5 so might have waited a little longer than some who only need 2 or 4-top, but we finally got one for mid-November. So it does happen! You really just have to be relentless in checking. I keep the dining webpages open all the time - one for each day and for each meal and have the parks loaded in for party of 5. Every time I think of it I hit the handy dandy "find a table" button. Usually I come up with a big goose egg, but every once in a while something will pop up. One day I even came across a Be Our Guest! It was like winning the lottery. Well, until the site went down and I couldn't book it. Then it was like my worst nightmare. But back to my original point.... you gotta just keep checking if you really want something. I still have 4 1/2 months til our trip and I've gotten everything we wanted with one exception - BOG dinner at a decent time. So far only 9 pm and that's not gonna fly with a 2 year old!
