I want to do the Wishes Dessert Party in September. My trip if for Sept 23-Oct 1.I have several questions about this:

Can you book this 180 days out like a normal dinner reservation?
Is the event held every night?
If not where can I find what nights it will be?
Can you book it online?

I don't think they release dates 180 days out. Right now, I think it's only released into July.

If it does happen during your trip it'll be every night they show Wishes.

I'm pretty sure it can be booked online.

Do you think they will have it in August? We are trying to get August 3rd. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Yep its only available to July 31 as of now. I wouldnt be surprised if its extended. I would give it a month or so. It would be crazy to be able to book online only to be able to book it until July. I think its going to be around for a long time since its so popular.

When it is available for booking, you can book online or by phone.

It is not held every night. If you call, the CMs can often look ahead in their calendars and tell you whether it will be offered on a specific night even when that night is not yet available for booking. They *seem* to be releasing booking dates *about* 90 days in advance but that is by no means certain. And if you call and ask, you'll probably just get the wrong answer. Best advice is to check online or on the Dis fairly often; when new dates/months open up, somebody usually starts a thread here.

The Dessert Party is not part of any of the dining plans and they do charge your credit card in full when you make the reservation. It is a real reservation, not an ADR. No matter what time they give you when you book it, the party starts for everyone 1 hour before that night's fireworks. You have an actual table reserved that has you name on it when you go in.

I was thinking about signing us up for this for our next trip. Does anybody know what they serve? Will they accommodate nut allergies?

They put out lots of little desserts; fancy little things like you'd see at some of the dinner buffets, not big cakes and pies and vats of ice cream. Beverages include coffee, iced tea, lemonade, & milk; no soda pop. There are nut products on the buffet as I distinctly remember pistachio-crusted creme brulee served in little demi-tasse cups. You would need to call Disney Dining to see if and how they could accomodate a nut allergy.

We have done the Dessert Party twice and love it! I book everything I can online now... it makes for my Disney fix of the day to check to see how far out it is extended! I hope to book again this August... in the words of my 5 year old... "It's a MUST-DO!"
