I am trying to find information on this.I heard it had been extended as normally finishes early september. Can someone tell me when it is on till and where I find information on it.The US official site syas its only on till august end but know of someone who has booked september 15. TIA.:thumbsup2

I booked for me and my mom for September 4th. They were still booking as far as I know last week.

Do some board searches. I believe it was extended through Dec 30th. I am sure someone will have all the details. I have a reservation for the 3rd week in October. It is filling up quickly so if you are interested call disney dining asap. 407-WDW-DINE

It was extended at least until the end of the year, we are booked for Dec 25th.

is it true they no longer have tables and chairs thats its standing room only? i booked for dec 2 but am rethinking after hearing that i mean thats what i'm paying for to sit and relax eat some dessert and watch fireworks but mostly to be able to sit and relax i could stand on main st for free! if anyone knows please let me know thanks oh and it was definatly extended to dec 30th

Standing room only refers to the "fireworks" not the dessert party. Everyone has the opportunity to walk up to the wall and watch. If you have a reservation, you have a table for the night. Hope this helps.

And those that stood at the railing were very courteous to those that chose to stay at their tables and stood off to one side of the area. They did not let you bring the chairs over to the railing the night we were there.

They do limit the number of people at the party, so it isn't packed. I think there were maybe 12 to 15 tables and a couple of families didn't even end up showing up. They have a place card on each table and they are all decorated.

Is there room for everyone that wants to stand at the railing to watch or are people rushing up to watch? I have reservations for Dec. 24. I am looking forward to it, but hate when it gets that way.

I called to check on 12/30 yesterday, and was told at this point in time it ended 12/29.

I think its worth it.::yes:: Been twice already and will be doing it again on Sept 4.

Its a nice time to sit back and relax. Eat some dessert and watch the fireworks without trying to find a spot. Prime viewing even though its not a full frontal view but you get to see Tinkerbell fly over head.:tinker: If its not raining.

There sure is and I use an ECV and everyone was polite and didn't stand in front of me so I couldn't see, they aren't that nice on Main Street or in the Castle Hub area

For anyone who's done it, is it worth the money?

Oh, yes it really is. That is why we are doing it for a second time.

I did tell my DH that I was going to bring a drink, because the night we went, they had lemonade and a couple of other things that I didn't really care for, not with dessert. I do think they had coffee, but it was too hot outside for coffee.

What happens if it pours down with rain? Do you get a refund?

I asked that question when I made our reservation. I was told be the CM that if they canceled, the money would be refunded. Maybe someone else has had that happen and knows for sure.

The party does not cancel for rain even if Wishes does. No refunds. Just desserts under covering in the rain.

We booked for 12/11. I am really looking forward to going. I've seen pictures on a few threads, and the desserts look wonderful. :goodvibes

I have dreams about them, no not really, but they were so good, I have cravings. I am looking forward to the creme brulee and I don't really even like creme brulee.

I have been trying to get this dessert party for the past month! I have changed dates and done just about all that I have read here. I keep being told to keep calling, or I can try each day we are there. I want this for my friend who has been there for me these past months and she loves desserts! Anyone got any other ways of maybe getting this? We will be there the 13 - 22!

The first time we did it, we had the same problem, I even called the morning of the day we wanted, and nothing. We went to the MK around 4 pm and they had a podium set up at the entrance to the Noodle station and had plenty of availability and our party was by no means crowded.

I had even been told at the dining line that this wasn't a possible option and it was.
