Wishes Dessert Party -standing versus seated

They offer a cheaper option where it is standing only, no seat. How does at work? Where do you stand to eat and to watch the fireworks? And if you spay for a seat, how is the seating done, can you stay at your seat for the fireworks? If yes, how many rows of tables are there and are they all good views?

For garden viewing, you check in at Tomorrowland Terrace and are escorted to a table to the right -- upper level of the restaurant area. You sit while enjoying the desserts. About five minutes before the projection show, an announcement is made that it's time to go to the garden area for viewing. This area is standing only. I guess you could sit on the grass if you wanted to.

I found the Plaza viewing to be a better value, as the fireworks views are better from the garden than from the more expensive seated dessert party. With that said, I won't do this one again. Desserts were sub-par. The Star Wars dessert party is about a thousand times better.

So do you stand while eating and then move to a different area? I am thinking standing the whole time would be rough for the kids.

The dessert party is on the upper tier of the tomorrowland terrace, with a separate buffet just for people who are doing the plaza garden viewing. After the dessert party, you would be escorted to the plaza garden to stand (or sit on the ground) for fireworks. It looks like there are some high tables or a place to set your plates on the upper tier, but I'm not sure whether or not you actually get a table with seats for that part of the evening. Most people say that the Plaza Garden offers a better view for the fireworks.

For the plaza/garden party, you do have a regular-height round table with chairs. No standing necessary while eating. You can either sit or stand on the grass in the fireworks viewing area. It was all very comfortable.
