Wishes Dessert Party reservation confusion

I looked online to try to book the Wishes Dessert Party during our trip. I put in for 2 people and it says nothing is available on any days of our trip. When I put in 3 people it finds availability. I don't want to book 3 people since you have to prepay but if 3 people can fit why can't 2? Would I have better luck calling to make a reservation?

Table size. It means that all the tables for 2 have been reserved. A party of 3 would be seated at a 4 top and there are still some of those available. Disney would rather have 3 or 4 at a 4 top than a party of 2.

I would try calling - you never know.
