Getting way too antsy for July to be released!! Come on!! :D

I also found all of my pins I collected from years back ..haven't been to Disney since like 2007 or so ..guests still wear and trade pins?

Yup! Pin trading is still going on! We are super excited to trade when we go too!

I believe unless it's a thunder storm they have the fireworks...once we were standing in front of the crystal gardens and couldn't see a thing through the fog....could only hear the music.

I'm dying here!!! We're waiting on August...If I write about it, I at least feel like I'm doing something to help the situation. Anyone have any word on August? Have they released July yet? Thanks, Danielle

what happens if wishes are cancelled due to weather?

As far as I know, you do not get a refund if Wishes were to be cancelled. This is because you are technically paying for the desserts, not the fireworks.

I think that it is very rare for the fireworks to be cancelled. My understanding is that once they are "loaded" they must be "fired", so to speak. If it would be dangerous to have them at the appropriate time, say, due to high winds, then they will just do them later, even if it means it is after closing.

What is "cancelled" somewhat more frequently is Tink flying. Our first Dessert party was a little disappointing, because we had heard how Tink flies "right over" the Tommorowland Terrace during the party. So we were waiting expectantly and she never flew at all that night. It was barely misting, so the weather wasn't really bad, but I guess it was not ideal for flying. I am not complaining, because I wouldn't want Tink to feel unsafe, or get hurt. THe kids were just a little disappointed. Since then, I remind them she may not fly at the party, and that they should consider it an extra treat if she does fly overhead.

I haven't been to WDW since 09, but pin trading is alive and well! :rotfl: I think every year it gets bigger. I already have my pin spending money for myself and DS set aside because it is an expensive hobby to have!

I haven't acquired any new pins since probably before 2010 ..so I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what's new! Now I just need to get my lanyard in some sort of order.. I've got way too many pins to choose from lol

On all the other pre-paid ADR's we have, I've noticed that our confirmation emails indicate that the tax & gratuity are included in the price. I doesn't say that for the Dessert Party.
Can anyone enlighten me?
Thanks!:)

Funny...I've been twice before, and I don't know the definitive answer to this. I'm pretty sure tax is included in your total when you pay. As for gratuity, it's a buffet, and there are a TON of CMs there working to restock, direct people, monitor the drink station, and clear plates. Therefore, I doubt a gratuity is included, and I'm not sure how you'd do it while you're there since there are so many of them all working together to help everyone... Interesting question!

Thanks! You're probably right. We've never been so I didn't know what to expect....

Just a note to those of you booking for July 3 and July 4....Tink doesn't fly during the Fourth of July show. When we went on July 3, 2009, there was a mother next to us at the railing and she kept saying, "It's almost time for Tink, wait til we see Tink, etc..." to her daughter. I finally whispered to her that there is no Tink during those shows because I didn't want her daughter to be disappointed. I just wanted to give a heads up for others who might have the same expectation. This may have changed since 2009, so if it has, please let me know :thumbsup2
