I just booked Aug. 21st!!!!!!!!!!! Like the; previous poster said, I just typed my august date in, and it came up! Strange thing though......the only time that came up was 9:10pm. Isn't that a strange time? The fireworks are at 10pm that night. I hope it's okay?????????

Me too - August 21st, I did call though and they gave me 9:00pm. 9:10 is not strange as the reservation times are staggered every 10 minutes!!! I am so excited. Now all my plans are finalized...

I was doing my regular random check-in of this thread on my iphone and when I saw that August was available, I jumped onto the computer so fast my family didn't know what was going on.

I finally got my Aug 24th ressie for 4 people! Thanks so much for posting - now I can stop stalking this thread.

Thank you so much - I got August 21st at 9:00! I had to call - the online system kept changing my date to 5/28 and telling me there was no availability. That was the last reservation I wated for my August trip

Thanks for this info! I called Disney and got our time changed to 9pm. We want to get the most of the party! How early should we get there, do you know? The CM on the phone said 5min. before, but I'm pretty sure I read to get there earlier than that for sure. TIA!

I have been checking every day for the last 6 weeks or so for August 18. I finally got it today. 9:00pm for 5 people. I am jumping up and down. I am so excited. 74 days til we leave.

Wow. So glad I happened to check my email!! I actually called and spoke to a CM this morning at 9:15 and she informed me that August had not opened up yet!!! SO thank you, thank you for the tip on entering the date manually with zeros - I got my desired August date.....FINALLY!!! Good luck to everyone still waiting for Sept and Oct!

I hope this is for real! I called right before I booked it and the CM said that she had just checked it and it wasn't open yet...I paid and got a confirmation number but no email yet. I "got" August 22 at 9:10...

Just wondering - how do you put in the date manually? When I try to book the dessert party, it only shows me the blacked out August calendar.

EDIT - Never mind, I figured it out! Made an August booking. Thanks for the tip, we're looking forward to trying it!

Whew! Finally got a reservation for Aug. 23!
First, I tried online, and it did say that date was available. But every time I tried to reserve it and give my information, it would tell me I had been "idle" for too long, and would start over at the beginning. Argh!!!!

So I stayed trapped in this cycle of frustration for several minutes, till I gave up and called Disney Dining. We have done the dessert party twice before and both times I have had to jump through hoops to get the folks at Disney dining to book the right thing for me. So I had been hoping to just book this online.

So, I did get right through to dining reservations, only to be told that they were not booking that date yet. I said that I knew people were booking August, so would she please keep checking, and she finally got it. I am so relieved!

Thank you, Dissers, I have been subbing to this thread, and if it weren't for you I would not have known they were accepting reservations, and even if I had called, I would have accepted "no" for an answer if it were not for you!

I am so glad everyone is having success at booking the Dessert Party for August.

We Disers have to stick together to keep the information flowing it is sad to think people call and are told no when in actuality the Party is bookable.

I got some weird info related to this that I'm questioning. We're booked for 7/31 and I tried to change to 8/2 (I called a few minutes ago). I was told the fireworks both nights are 9:00, but our entry time is 9:10. I was told the earliest time they START letting people in for the dessert party on these nights is 9:00. Does that seem right?!

I was told the fireworks both nights are 9:00, but our entry time is 9:10. I was told the earliest time they START letting people in for the dessert party on these nights is 9:00. Does that seem right?!

I just checked again, and the fireworks are definitely at 10pm. Your 9:10pm time should be fine!

The fireworks on 8/02 start at 10pm so your times seems right. The buffet opens an hour before the fireworks...

After many...many phone calls to Disney...posts on here saying how August isn't open yet I finally...finally booked August 1st!!!!! I can't believe it!!! Mission accomplished!!
