Hmmm... I'm paying $180.98 for 6 adults, 1 child and 1 infant.
Calculating the price quoted above, it should be 169.93; maybe it's a little more on Dec 2? That's a difference of 11.05 so it couldn't be a tip?

It's plus tax. I just looked up my reservation and I paid $138.40 for 5 adults so it must me $25.99 + tax makes it $27.68 per person. Kids should come to $14.90.

Shouldn't be a tip because you would do that there. I think maybe it must be a little higher because it's Dec. I know when we're going it is off season and things pick up in Nov and Dec. That's my guess....

I don't think it is customary to tip here, if it was I would think they would automatically add it to parties of 6 or more. Or maybe it's included in the price since it's pre-pay like CRT or the dinner shows. But you don't have a specific waitperson either, It's pretty much completely self serve.

I am on the lookout for a Dessert Party ADR for November 1st for 4 people. If you are looking to cancel or happen to see one pop up please let me know! I will be checking numerous times a day as well.

It is our 15th Year Trip Anniversary and am trying to do something new for everyone.

Hooray!!!! After trying for months, I just scored a reservation for next Monday the 29th!!! Keep trying if you are looking for a date within the next 2 weeks since it seems cancellations are popping up!!

The TT dessert party was never available on MNSSHP nights.

Hi everyone!
I'm just thinking ahead here: we will be in the world on July 4th this year and this is the only time we can go. I'm stressing about crowds a bit already. I've heard the July 4th fireworks shouldn't be missed though but that they do them July 3rd as well correct? Is there a dessert party that evening generally? And if so is it nearly impossible to get? I don't generally enjoy the fireworks without the dessert party because of crowds. I know we'll stay away near the 4th if we can get a reservation. TIA!

I did the party on the 3rd last year and I wouldn't have done it any other way. You do miss some of the show (not gonna spoil it) but you didn't have to fight to crowds. I staked out my spot at EPCOT 4 hours early the next night.

I did the desert party on July 4th this past summer and it was awesome! The crowds were absolutely insane and it was so nice to be able to sit down and relax for an hour before the fireworks. Book as soon as the date is released. Early January I believe. It actually was released more at the 175 day mark and not the 180 day mark if I remember correctly! It was sold out by the end of the day. I must have booked right when it was opened up about 4pm in the afternoon as I ended up with a table right up front!

Eek! So it doesn't release with all of the other ADRS at the 180 day mark in the morning? That stinks! I was planning to wake up super early to get my ADRS on the 180 day mark and the dessert party would be toward the end of my trip so the 180+10 would have worked in my favor. I unfortunately can't check all during the day because I'm at work I really want to do this! The one party we went to was great, and this one would be even better because of the insane crowds.
