Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread #3-book @ 180 Days Now!

I just wanted to jump in. I'm wanting 10/6 but she told me the same thing this morning that it hadn't open yet. I'm being to wonder if it's 90 days instead of 180 days.

I hope everyone waiting gets better news soon. With the canceling of some dates in April (though everyone is being told something different there too, it seems) and this, the dessert party is causing grief to so many people right now.

My DS wants to book it again in November so I will be paying close attention to this thread.

When I booked our late August Dessert Party date (this coming August - 28th) it was on my 180 (+ 10 date) The Disney website is still reading book at 180. I think all the confusion is more about the "upgraded" MDE then anything else. It was working fine before the 2 recent upgrades to solve some of the existing issues. Even this morning people were posting they were unable to make any ADRs.. Disney IT was "adding enhancements". *shaking my head*

If I go on line to book the Dessert Party it only goes out as far as July 7th, nothing pass that date.

I can't believe how hard this is to book now. Last year we went a few times and I generally just booked a couple weeks in advance. Either demand has gone up or I just got really lucky.

I'm looking for May 2nd, but, I can see that's not going to happen.. lol

Somehow I got BOG for May 2nd though, so not bad considering it sure wasn't 6 months out. I wish that the reservations had a calender option that actually showed days with available tables. We're local and really wouldn't mind hitting this mid week, but I have yet to find a day with an open table.

That's great! I got BOG for 5 pm last year on May 2nd by checking early every morning online. We had BOG for dinner at 5 then got The Wishes Dessert Party at 8! What an amazing night.

I HAD BEEN a 90 day ADR but was changed to 180 day --in Oct I think... don't quote me on it, but I read about the change here on the disboards and put it in my mind to remember to make the TTDP ressie at the same time as my other 180 day ADRs. (ha!)
IF they changed it back to being a 90 day ADR, they've done it w/o any official announcement, without informing the CMs at central dining reservations and without changing it on the official WDW webpage for this event.
Also, people on this thread currently hold reservations for TTDP for August and 1st week of Sept. These dates are greater than 90 days out.

Do they normally not have the dessert party on MNSSHP days? If so I'm thinking they won't release the dessert party until the party dates are officially announced.

The website will not load past 90 days. To find it online, you need to use a computer (not mobile device) and do the following.

Under the things to do tab choose Make Reservations
First sign in to your account.
Pick your date, time (hour before fireworks) and party number.
All the restaurants with availability at the time will be listed in alphabetical order.
If the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Desert Party is available you should be able to find it on this list.
Click on the time and you should be able to reserve it.

I would also call and check the date. All parties after 9/6 have not been opened for reservations.

Probably, but people calling in/emailing have been told:

Party dates need to be finalized.
It's full for that date.
I don't know why tables aren't available for booking.
Corporations have reserved all the party slots for September.
This is a 90 day ADR not 180 day ADR.
No parties because of construction on the Hub.

How hard would it be to get everyone to at least tell the same lie if WDW isn't willing to provide the true answer?

ETA: To add - Renovations to the Terrace in September, potential meteor strike, and an ancient Incan (we know the Incas are superior to the Mayans) calendar was just unearthed that ends on September 7, 2014.

I have called for the past two mornings to book my Dessert Party and they keep telling me "it hasn't been loaded in the system yet". I have also logged into Disney Disney to book it as well. It will not let me book there. The latest date that you can book on line is July 7th. Yesterday was my 180th day. Which I confirmed yesterday while I was on the phone.

HaHa. I could actually add one to the list. This morning I was told by the CM that it wasn't official, but she heard there was going to be renovations being done to the Terrace during September.

Welcome to the club. Read backward on this thread and you will see that many of us have been dealing with this for the past MONTH!! Every day, calling, checking this thread, sending emails and calling Guest Relations.

I got on the Dessert Party ADR Hell-Train way back on March 10th, which was MY 180-day out mark. Made all of my other ADR's for our visit w/o any problem, but the Dessert Party ADR has been well, less-than-magical! Today, the CM asked me if there was anyting I am celebrating on this visit. I replied, "If I ever get this ADR, THAT will be what I will be celebrating!"

Next up: Astronomers are predicting that The Terrace might possibly be hit by a meteor in Sept and for the safety of WDW guests, they are not scheduling any Dessert Parties for that month.

It was 180, at least for awhile. I'm booked for July 19. I booked it for the 14th originally probably around my 160 day mark once we finalized our dates and then after talking things over decided we wanted to close our trip out with it and were able to change it to the 19th with no problem about a week after that.
It's still showing up on my reservations and they still have my money.
