I was hoping today was the day August would open up. It's a dreary/rainy day here and that would provide some much needed "sunshine".

I will be waiting with you for November, last year November dates opened up on 9/2

I guess I can relax until August, September and October open up. Then I'll be checking every single second. haha.

How does the dessert party work? Is there only one time for the reservation (9:00)? What time are the fireworks?
I have never done this before and am hoping for an early August reservation. Any info would be great! I've heard such wonderful things about it, would love to try it!

You will not regret booking the dessert party. The 'doors' usually open 1 hour prior to Wishes. You check in at the podium and they tell you your Pre-assigned table number. You are welcome to the dessert buffet right away. At approx. 15 prior to Wishes the Castle projection begins.

We do it ever time we go. It's my DD favorite thing to do.

I guess I'll be waiting a few more days for August, since its been said they don't usually open reservations on weekends. . . I don't know WHY this has seemed like such a LONG wait, but it just seems like it is taking FOR EV ER!! Sooner or later, it will happen. Hopefully I will be READY!!

I'm pretty sure I want to do this for our August trip. I have a family full of first timers who have never seen Wishes (I have, but it's been years) and with two of them being little, I think having a place away from the big crowds with some cookies to munch would be magical!

Now they just need to open up our dates...

I seriously doubt we see the release of August dates before closer to the end of May or even the first week in June. Historically August 2011 was released on Sat May 28 and August 2012 on Tues June 12.

I hope it is sooner and not later for everyone waiting but just say'n

WOW, that late, huh??? I didn't realize that. Thanks for the historic info. I hope its sooner, rather than later, but I know it will happen when it happens. I just hope that when it DOES happen, I am near my computer. I have tried to find the information to make the reservation on my smartphone, but MDE didn't even have it listed for me.

Even if you could see it listed on your smartphone, I'm not sure you could book it. I tried making a Tusker House ADR on my iPhone a couple of months ago, and because it required a credit card, it wouldn't let me book. The message said I needed to call.

Hmmm, now that IS interesting, because I was able to book Chef Mickey's on my smartphone and it required a CC hold. Wow, sounds like things are just all confused!! I guess if I can just make sure to check this thread if I'm not near my computer, I can just call to make the ADR when other people post August is open. The NEXT hurdle with THAT is trying to convince the CM's that a month is actually open!!!! When I called about a week ago to check August, I was told July wasn't even open yet!! Um, REALLY???? When I explained that I KNEW July was open because I had friends with ADRs, she checked again and couldn't BELIEVE I was right!!
