Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread # 2 - September 2013 OPEN!!!

Hello all !! I have a question. Today I was able to make reservations for the dessert party today for January 25 th! my question is when I was reading the information about the party it said standing only. Does that mean we will Not have a tale to sit at to eat and watch the fireworks?? I can't imagine they would make people stand! If I am going to be standing I need to cancel the reservation and will be very unhappy!! Thanks!!

Hello... please look at the pictures on my first link of my signature. You will notice that there is a huge ceiling above the tables....and there are only 4 or 5 tables at most where you can sit and see the fireworks. You will be given a pre-assigned table to eat at, but all are encouraged to see the fireworks from the railing...hence standing.
Even though you will be standing to see the fireworks most likely, you wouldn't be within a huge mob of people where it would become uncomfortable. Hope this helps some...again, check out the pictures in my thread...that may help you.

Hi there! New to the forum and can't quite find the exact answer to my question. I'm going to Disneyworld March 1-8, hoping to do the wishes party on the 5th or 6th. Can anyone help me figure out when to expect to be able to make my reservation, or did I already miss out? Every time I try, it says there is nothing available.

The Wishes dessert party only opens a few months in advance, it's not like the 180 ADR's. You have not missed march yet, February is the furthest open now. This thread (I don't know if there is a march thread, I would guess so) is a good one to subscribe to and check often for when March becomes available. Good luck, I'm waiting for May myself!!!

Ok. I am here now and I forgot the recommendation of arrival time. Just looking for a quick reply. I have a 7:00 reservation tonight wishes are at 8 pm do I arrive at the 7 pm time or an hour before that? At 6 pm. TIA.

You can't get in until I hour before the fireworks so 7. And your table is reserved so it will not be given to anyone else if you are not there at 7. Have a great night.

March 2013 should open up hopefully by the 17th of January from the historical chart that was posted. I know February opened up way past that date though. I am (not so) patiently waiting for March 3rd

So glad I found this thread! I was trying to book an ADR and thought it was sold out for every night of our trip! I'm waiting for May 12 to open up. It's Mother's Day, I hope it's not hard to get! Is there any magic number of days prior the ADRs open up, or is it random?
