Wishes Desert Party Extended

Thanks for the post! this was DH's one request and we have been waiting to see if we could get a ressie and I just booked for October!

I loved the chocolate covered strawberries and the berry tarts. We went in June and are going back in December!

I'm so excited that this has been extended finally. I've called every other day for over a month, and finally got my ressies today for Sept 24th! Can't wait. This is a surprise for hubby and niece.

Where do you call to book this, just the regular Disney Dining number? We will be there in 3 weeks, and it's probably all booked up, but I have a few extra dollars and thought I might try as a surprise for DH and I.

covered with the dining plan? I would doubt it, but since we are upgrading to the deluxe plan, I would book it if I can use credits. The deluxe plan includes so much food that I don't think I'd be willing to pay any extra OOP for it.

Its a way to make more money for them thats it .

Yes, you just call the regular number. I've been calling a lot and select "Special Dining Events". It's not part of DDP but we think it will be worth it.

I just called to make my reservation for a non-MNSSHP night in late October (and those are few and far between ), and while they had availability for me on October 25th, she said the price was $27.68. :scared1::scared1:

I decided that was just too much money to pay for desserts, no matter how much I like them. I went to it last year and really enjoyed it, but it was at least $5 cheaper than that. I'll just grab a big ol' cookie ice cream sandwich from the Bakery for $4 and enjoy that instead!

Has anyone tried to book for Friday, October 29th yet?

I called a few minutes ago, and the CM told me they are only doing the party on certain nights -- and October 29th is not one of them. I thought all nights through December would be opened up, but maybe not? :confused3

Has anyone else run across this yet -- that they are not offering the party on the night you wanted?

Update...I called Disney Dining again, and this CM told me they are not offering the dessert party on MNSSHP nights.

Has anyone else run across this?

Thanks! :)

The week I am going, the dessert party is only being offered on non-MNSSHP nights. I don't know about the other weeks.

Thank you so much for this, have just booked the 4 of us for Wed 22nd December which is my wife's birthday!

Does anyone know why Disney would not want to book the dessert party during MNSSHP nights? I've never know Mickey to pass up a buck...:rotfl2:

Not sure, we are staying BL at BC and I even ask the IPO to call and see if it was definitely not happening during the MNSSHP and she said it won't be offered. The CM I talked to last night said that since it wasnt "Wishes" fireworks, they were not offering the dessert party. :confused3
